Humusnack

This is hummus for all those who aren't familiar with the mediterranean cuisine:

This weekend I went out with two friends I haven't seen quite a long time, and we went to some pub in Kibbutz Parod:

Three special things in this pub would be:
1. It's build inside a zimmer (and that makes it small!).
2. The snack that they serve along alcoholic drinks isn't peanuts, olives or popcorn, but cooked hummus beans.
3. They serve alcoholic milkshakes (and this is the first time I see this in a pub).

Add this with coffee, closed windows and many smokers and you will receive the perfect recipe for a nausea. So I spent that night on the deck talking on the phone with a friend.

The dress is really big, but it's elegant, and it's second hand. I guess you can name it my big little black dress. The shawl is a gift from grandma, and I really like the color, and there was a brown cardigan between the dress and the shawl.

And the forecast lied! There was no rain yesterday and there are no signs of one today, but it is pretty hot.

sort of a job interview outfit

So first of all here is a picture of the back of the dress from the last post and a close up to the material, it's not gray, it's plaid in black and white:

And this is something I wore during the week, to some job interview (I decided not to go there, whether they'll accept me or they won't).
The gray top is pretty old, I bought it before I started 10th grade, and that would make it 5+ years old. But nothing is second hand here, maybe that's why I got this unsatisfied look(:

The forecast promises a wintry and rainy and kind of cold week, I can't wait for it to start!

Go elegant

We decided to end the week with south park session, so we came to a friend with couple of beers on Saturday night.

This tunic used to be a dress that had a bad figure and great pattern - brown, white and light-blue stripes, and I couldn't just throw it.
And it was pretty cold outside, and the tunic and the top are pretty airy, so I stayed warm with the ugg(ly)s:

And yesterday I worked as a supervisor at the psychometric exams (you have to take it in order to go to any high-education institute, but school doesn't prepare you for it). The day was so long.. We got on the ride at 5.55 am and got on the ride home at 8:30 p.m. (and I came home only at 11 pm! but that's because I came back to my parents home and not to the doorms).
At least I got to knit quite a lot, and to make a bracelet for my boyfriends best-friend.

And this lovely dress is second hand, I should've take a picture of it's back, it has lacing as if it's a girdle, only it's not a girdle, and the lacing is long enough to be around the ribs and be tied under the lacing:

The back looks a little like this, only it's not a separate part.

Anyways, I had a red bag a red nail polish and I thought of wearing heels, but I figured it would be too much, and I was right, though it could've look so good. But it's just not the right place.

The lost dance-bar

Last night the girls said that they are tired of looking for things to do, and it's my turn to find something nice.

That could have been easy if we weren't living in a small city in the desolated north.
but we do.

So I decided to search for a dance-bar that wouldn't be too far (1 hour driving is an acceptable distance). We found 2 places in Kiryat Haim, which is a suburban of Haifa, and we decided to go there, and if we won't like it - there are plenty of pubs at that area.

After having hard times finding the places, some people secretly told us that those places are shut-down for the past.. year?

So we decided to go to some random pub, that had a music that was way too loud, but had such an impressive variety of bottled beer. Too bad I was driving, and had to settle for cranberry-juice.

This Guinness t-shirt I got free from a six-pack. I really prefer the delicate light beers and not the dark malt ones, but hey - free is always better!

ATV

All-Terrain vehicle, those mini-jeeps, are the thing that we on rode this week:

The day before, we had a nice dinner - wine, cheese, beer, whiskey and bamba:

I didn't get a chance to take a good picture of what I wore that evening, here's the best shot -
blue strapless, black skinny pants, and 11 cm (~4.3") peep-toe black heels.
