Full afain
Last early-weekend (that would be Wednesday), I went out with friends again to the Benson (the same old dance bar in Kibbutz Yasur), and I felt kind of fat after a good meal, thus didn't feel good in any outfit, so I wore a pretty basic one, and drank more that usual (whippi for me).

DIY top and red lipstick
I found a piece of fabric, black, seen-through, with silver color stiff stains, and made this top(?) out of it -
This dress, is Victoria's Secret, second hand, very large, but I sewed it a little. I wear it mostly at home though I think it is lovely.
Since I wasn't updating on a daily base lately, I have a gap between the post at that day's outfit.
I was volunteering again, this time I went with a simple look. Notice the top's back. The material is very stretchy and light, great shirt for flat-abbed summer girls, but still I wore it on an average temp. day, couple of days ago:
And I bought a red lip pencil (that is a lipstick), from Il-Makiage's mineral line (the prices in US - including shipping - are much cheaper than in Israel, how unfair is that?):
But I didn't use it that day, or many days after, I find it hard to wear this color at the places I usually go to. Yes, mom was right, if I would bought another color, I would use it more (my main lipstick is Labello's strawberry one for now), but hey - a girl has to have one of those!

OTK Boots
On Thursday eve I went out with a friend to a bar - Heavanz Gate, in Nahariyya, that decided to open a dance-bar line on Thursday. It wasn't a great success, and felt like 6th grade party, in which everyone is waiting for someone to start dancing, and just hang out meanwhile. After being there for 2-3 hours, it became so crowded that people had to stand, so they began to move randomly. Still I wouldn't call that a dance bar.
While sitting at the bar, a guy came and told me that his friend, who sits right next to me is interested at me. I told him that I have a boyfriend. After the guy left, the one that sits near me asked me what did he want, I told him and he told me not believe him.
Uh-huh.
After couple of minutes he spilled on me his drink, on my suede boots!
Biatch.
I love this boots, I got them on ebay (second hand!), but I just don't know how to wear them. The best advise I got so far is tights. I thought it would look great with shorts\mini skirts and dresses, but they are so high, and so not tight at the top that I have no idea what to do with them.
Advices please!

Night pizza
Out for a pizza with my brother and my dad. Mom was at work at warned us not to save slices for her(:
It's not really visible, but I tried mom's blue Dior's mascara, which looks purple sometimes. This was the base to the outfit.
I really like the combination of dark blue and dark purple.

Volunteering for my mayor
Sounds patriotic, huh?
On November 11th we will have the municipal elections, all over the country.
In my home city (which isn't Haifa), we have the same mayor for about 40 years, maybe a little more. And he is really good at his job.
In addition, we have a municipal scholarships coordinator, who also volunteers for this mayor's campaign, and she asked me to help her. And I went skiing with some of his kids via a municipal youth exchange delegation, and we stayed sort of mates.
All this, and my personal believe that he is the better candidate, was enough to make me come and volunteer a little at his election headquarters for couple of hours:
I don't like wearing long pants that aren't skinny with high heeled shoes, but it was the last minute change of clothes so it just happened.

The Benson
This is something I wore to a dance bar, thinking that it would be again super crowded, so I should wear the simplest shoes that I don't mind ruining by accident:
This is me and the friend I went with. I love so much when party photographers photo me with freinds!
We went there only the two of us, so when she went out for a smoke (I don't smoke and don't like when people smoke around me), I had to be on my own there.
At the beginning too many guys tried to dance with me (I guess that a girl dancing by herself is a rare sight), then I went to the bathroom and on my way met 3 girls that studied in parallel classes with me, but we weren't friends. They were glad to see me, so of course I was glad to see them, so I stayed and danced with them, and they knew the important people at this place, so they got loots of free drinks, and been kind enough to share it with me(:
And another issue - this booties are to die for!
I've seen them in several blogs here, and just fell in love. I don't know whether I will be able to walk normally in those, but who cares! look at it!
Those booties give a great contra to the shoes from the beginning of this post(:

Celebrating a year
My boyfriend and I celebrated a year to our relationship, a bit earlier than the real time since his exams will soon begin. We went to a beautiful zimmer near the Kinneret lake:
In the evening we went to see the cowshed and fed them.
My grandparents own a huge farm, but they say that cows are too demanding, that's why they prefer goats, and I guess that's why I adore goat's milk. And maybe this was the reason why I was a little scared at the beginning:
I wore his socks and sandals since I came with black flats that I love too much to ruin them in such a place(:
Then we stayed at the jacuzzi until we felt like dead. Notice the colorful light:

Humusnack
This is hummus for all those who aren't familiar with the mediterranean cuisine:
This weekend I went out with two friends I haven't seen quite a long time, and we went to some pub in Kibbutz Parod:
Three special things in this pub would be:
1. It's build inside a zimmer (and that makes it small!).
2. The snack that they serve along alcoholic drinks isn't peanuts, olives or popcorn, but cooked hummus beans.
3. They serve alcoholic milkshakes (and this is the first time I see this in a pub).
Add this with coffee, closed windows and many smokers and you will receive the perfect recipe for a nausea. So I spent that night on the deck talking on the phone with a friend.
The dress is really big, but it's elegant, and it's second hand. I guess you can name it my big little black dress. The shawl is a gift from grandma, and I really like the color, and there was a brown cardigan between the dress and the shawl.
And the forecast lied! There was no rain yesterday and there are no signs of one today, but it is pretty hot.

sort of a job interview outfit
So first of all here is a picture of the back of the dress from the last post and a close up to the material, it's not gray, it's plaid in black and white:
And this is something I wore during the week, to some job interview (I decided not to go there, whether they'll accept me or they won't).
The gray top is pretty old, I bought it before I started 10th grade, and that would make it 5+ years old. But nothing is second hand here, maybe that's why I got this unsatisfied look(:
The forecast promises a wintry and rainy and kind of cold week, I can't wait for it to start!

Go elegant
We decided to end the week with south park session, so we came to a friend with couple of beers on Saturday night.
This tunic used to be a dress that had a bad figure and great pattern - brown, white and light-blue stripes, and I couldn't just throw it.
And it was pretty cold outside, and the tunic and the top are pretty airy, so I stayed warm with the ugg(ly)s:
And yesterday I worked as a supervisor at the psychometric exams (you have to take it in order to go to any high-education institute, but school doesn't prepare you for it). The day was so long.. We got on the ride at 5.55 am and got on the ride home at 8:30 p.m. (and I came home only at 11 pm! but that's because I came back to my parents home and not to the doorms).
At least I got to knit quite a lot, and to make a bracelet for my boyfriends best-friend.
And this lovely dress is second hand, I should've take a picture of it's back, it has lacing as if it's a girdle, only it's not a girdle, and the lacing is long enough to be around the ribs and be tied under the lacing:
The back looks a little like this, only it's not a separate part.
Anyways, I had a red bag a red nail polish and I thought of wearing heels, but I figured it would be too much, and I was right, though it could've look so good. But it's just not the right place.

The lost dance-bar
Last night the girls said that they are tired of looking for things to do, and it's my turn to find something nice.
That could have been easy if we weren't living in a small city in the desolated north.
but we do.
So I decided to search for a dance-bar that wouldn't be too far (1 hour driving is an acceptable distance). We found 2 places in Kiryat Haim, which is a suburban of Haifa, and we decided to go there, and if we won't like it - there are plenty of pubs at that area.
After having hard times finding the places, some people secretly told us that those places are shut-down for the past.. year?
So we decided to go to some random pub, that had a music that was way too loud, but had such an impressive variety of bottled beer. Too bad I was driving, and had to settle for cranberry-juice.
